Special Education Process and Important Concepts

Date: July 2018
Event: Presentation presented at the Department of Special Education
Location: Kabul Education University, Afghanistan

In July 2018, I had the privilege of delivering a presentation titled “Special Education Process and Important Concepts” at Kabul Education University in Afghanistan. This presentation aimed to provide foundational knowledge and essential concepts in special education to educators and students pursuing careers in this field.

During the presentation, we explored key aspects of the special education process, including assessment, individualized education plans (IEPs), instructional strategies, and classroom accommodations. Participants engaged in discussions and practical activities to deepen their understanding and enhance their skills in supporting students with diverse learning needs.

The session at Kabul Education University was a valuable opportunity to contribute to the professional development of future educators and promote inclusive practices within the educational system of Afghanistan. It was inspiring to see the enthusiasm and commitment of participants as they prepared to make a positive impact in the lives of children with special needs.

Thank you for following my journey in advocating for inclusive education. Stay tuned for more updates on my recent activities and upcoming educational initiatives!
