How to Plan Teaching Students with Special Needs

Date: February 2021
Event: Three-Day Workshop
Location: Enable Child Afghanistan, Kabul, Afghanistan

In February 2021, I had the opportunity to conduct a three-day workshop at Enable Child Afghanistan in Kabul. The workshop, titled “How to Plan Teaching Students with Special Needs,” was designed to provide educators with effective planning strategies to address the diverse needs of their students.

Throughout the workshop, participants learned about the essential components of lesson planning for students with special needs, including setting individualized goals, adapting instructional materials, and using assessment data to guide instruction. We engaged in collaborative activities and discussions, allowing educators to share their experiences and develop practical plans tailored to their classroom contexts.

This training was a crucial step towards enhancing the capacity of educators in Afghanistan to deliver high-quality, inclusive education. Witnessing the dedication and passion of the participants was truly inspiring, as they committed to making a positive impact on the lives of their students.

Thank you for following my journey in supporting inclusive education. Stay tuned for more updates on my recent activities and upcoming training sessions!
